Let me tell you about a wonderful world for whirling wittes that resides in the attic recording space of one Grovesy McGroverson, one-third of the Craft Beer Talk triumvirate. This world is overruled by wheat, flavor and spice. It delivers from the top of fermentation — literally — and began so famously in Belgium and Holland. We tried takes from two states and one province of Northern America, however: Ommegang’s Witte, Clown Shoes’ Clementine and Unibroue’s Blanche de Chambly. Along with special guest Chris “Morning Grumpy” Smith we danced without dancing and loved despite never having loved (each other, physically, as far as we know). Listen and get your witte on.
Yes, we know the title is disgusting.
