This week we take a look at two new beer(s) from Magic Hat Brewing Company. “Elder Betty” kicks the show off; an interesting take on a fruit/wheat ale by using Elderberries as opposed to more common fruits such as blueberry, raspberry or blackberry. “Pistil” shows up next with a unique ingredient..dandelion leaves, leaving the beer slightly bittered, in a new and good way. In addition, Ethan gives us a recount of his trip to San Diego for the 2012 Craft Brewers Conference with some great facts about crown caps and more!
As always, thanks for listening. Support your local and embeer! Cheers!

Another beer brewed w/ dandelions is from one of my favorite belgium Breweries: Brasserie Fantome, he makes a beer called Fantôme Pissenlit. I haven’t seen it local but I’ve seen it on Etre goumet’s website. And speaking of sours, I’m attending the Stone sour fest this year and excited to see what “Dr.” Bill Sysak has to offer. Looking forward to your sour podcast.
